Corrections and verification
This site presents Digambar and Shwetambar tradition side by side and tries hard not to state as settled what is genuinely disputed. Even so, errors get through. If something here is wrong, we would rather know.
Corrections we especially want:
- Festival and tithi dates. Lunar dates shift each year and vary by panchang and by region. If a date on this site does not match your sangh’s panchang, please tell us which panchang you follow.
- Transcriptions of sacred text. Stotras and paths here are transcribed from supplied sources and reproduced without normalising spellings. If a line differs from your printed edition, tell us the edition.
- Guru and Acharya profiles. We mark a tradition as unverified rather than guess it. If you can confirm or correct a profile — particularly Shwetambar profiles, which are still being prepared — that help is genuinely valuable.
- Observance and dietary detail. Several pages carry a “pending review” notice because practice varies by sect, sub-sect and region. If you are qualified to review one, please write.
