One of the most prolific authors in Jain literature. Best known for the Yogadrishtisamuccaya and the Shaddarshanasamuccaya, the latter a notably even-handed survey of the philosophical schools of his day.
Scholars place him variously between the 6th and 8th centuries. Stated as debated rather than fixed.
