Life

A disciple of Muni Nayavijaya within the Tapa Gaccha lineage descending from Hiravijaya — the same monk whose influence on the Mughal emperor Akbar led to temporary restrictions on animal slaughter at court.

Legacy

Regarded as the last great scholastic logician of traditional Jain philosophy before the onset of the modern era.
